We the Canterbury for Ukraine Ukrainian Ladies Choir are still feeling the warmth and joy from last night’s “A Shared Harvest” event, and we couldn’t wait to express our gratitude!

A heartfelt thank you to Canterbury Welcomes Refugees, Svenja Powell, Chris Powell, the Diocese of Canterbury and Domenica Pecoraro for inviting us to be a part of this incredible evening. It was an honour to share our voices and music, celebrating unity and diversity in our community.

We’d like to extend our deepest appreciation to St Mary Bredin Church for hosting the event in such a welcoming and beautiful space. Your hospitality was exceptional, and it made the evening even more special.

We extene our deepest gratitude to the Rt Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover, for her inspiring speech in support of refugees and sharing. Your words touched our hearts and resonated with the spirit of unity that “A Shared Harvest” represents.

And of course, singing alongside Marsh Family was an absolute pleasure. Their talent and dedication are truly remarkable, and it was an unforgettable experience to perform together.

Last but not least, we want to express our gratitude to the noble audience, including Cllr Connie Nolan, CEO of Canterbury Business Improvement District Lisa Carlson and other dignitaries, for joining us in celebrating the power of sharing, unity and community. It was truly an honour to sing to you all.

Thank you all for making “A Shared Harvest” a night and delicious meals made specially by community members to remember. Your support and warm reception mean the world to us. We look forward to more opportunities to come together and share our music and friendship!
