Filled with immense gratitude and joy, we the Canterbury for Ukraine Ladies’ Choir in Canterbury want to share our happiest moments with all of you. We are incredibly humbled by the overwhelming support and the resounding applause that filled the beautiful venue of St Peter’s Methodist Church.
We thank each and every one of you, our esteemed audience. Your presence, your warm applause, and your enthusiastic response filled our hearts with sheer delight. Your unwavering support and encouragement fuel our passion for music and give us strength to go ahead despite these challenging times.
We are beyond grateful to our conductor Joanna Chapman and accompanist David Chapman. We are truly blessed with you both, as you give us so much support, inspiration, and exceptional guidance and always find the right words to drive us to new successes. Your expertise, dedication, and tireless efforts have shaped us into a harmonious ensemble, allowing us to create moments of pure musical magic. We extend our appreciation to Olena Nizalova. Your remarkable talent, wise counsel, forward-thinking vision, and your children, Nastia Nizalova and Kseniia Nizalova, our marvellous gifted soloists, are our shining beacons guiding us to new achievements. We are grateful for your leadership and the opportunities you provide for us to showcase our talents. Just back from Ukrainian Choir concert at Sandwich Arts Festival. The choir performs professionally with a mixture of Christian and Ukrainian folk songs. They were simply superb and brought many (including me) to tears.
