Canterbury for Ukraine is a registered charity, that was formally established as an Unincorporated Charitable Association on 20 May, 2022. Its volunteers have been providing support to displaced Ukrainian persons since March 2022. More than 300 displaced persons and their sponsors have benefited from various C4U activities. Provide relief from social and economic poverty to Ukrainians displaced as a result of Russian aggression
Support educational and social needs of the Displaced Persons.
Facilitate community development, by supporting Ukrainian guests and their hosts, as well as local residents involved with them.
Preserve and develop Ukrainian culture and heritage. Promote opportunities for cultural exchange within the local community.
C4U Welcome Hub
Regular drop-in support sessions for Ukrainians and their hosts.
Free English lessons
In partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University, several levels are available, from beginner to advanced.
Young Ukrainians Hub Простір Української молоді
It was started with the aim of creating a comfortable Ukrainian-speaking environment for our children to communicate with their peers, as well as to support and develop a connection with Ukrainian culture and traditions, promote their personal development and improve communication and teamwork skills.
C4U Ladies Choir
Singing brings people together and we have established a choir to share beautiful Ukrainian music with the local community.
Young Hearts Club
This is the place where Ukrainians can chat over a cup of coffee on interesting topics, engage in various activities and go on excursions together.
Monthly meetings are held to discuss important topics such as Women’s Health, Ukrainian Culture and Life in the UK.
SIM cards for Ukrainians
We distribute free Vodafone SIM cards for Ukrainians to keep people connected.
