Dear Stakeholder
You are invited to the District of Sanctuary Stakeholder Event on 9 September, 9.00 - 14.00pm, at Westgate Hall, Canterbury.
(Parking available in the nearby Westgate Hall Road Carpark or other city centre car parks)
Canterbury City Council is developing a District of Sanctuary Strategy to build on the excellent work already taking place across the district to support people seeking sanctuary.
Over the past few months, we have carried out a needs analysis through desktop research, consultations with people with lived experience, and surveys of agencies and organisations working across the district.
We would like to invite you to help shape the next stage of this work. At the event, we will:
* Share the key findings from the needs analysis.
* Gather your views on the priorities that should inform the strategy.
* Explore ideas for improving access to services and identifying opportunities to address gaps in provision.
Your insight and experience will be invaluable in helping us develop a strategy that responds to local needs and builds on existing strengths across the district.
We would be grateful if you could RSVP to the Teams invite or email us to confirm your attendance. If you are unable to attend but a colleague from your organisation can join in your place, please let us know and we'd be delighted to see them.
A light lunch will be provided with an opportunity for networking. We look forward to welcoming you on 9 September.
Best Wishes
Janine
